Happy Things

So, I figured that my last update is a bit old and I should tell about some recent happy tidings. 

First, I'm having a lot of good professional art and graphic design related projects that I'm either engaging in or have the opportunity to engage in, so I'm working on applying myself to those projects and opportunities and getting quite excited about the experience. I also have some other work that I need to post up here soon. It's all sitting in my stash and on my desktop, so I gotta get to it.

I'm really quite excited about what's going on in life right now. I recently had my 22nd Birthday, for one thing. It's so weird being in my twenties. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I notice my face is different than what it used to be when I was 17 or even 18. I've come so far and changed so much. I'll be graduating next semester and making a lot of big changes in my life. I want to thank you guys for supporting my work. I'll be continuing posting work up here, and hopefully more frequently now that I have my Superteen comic started. I'm so happy with the response from you guys. I've had this story since I was 12 and I'm happy that I've finally shared it with you. Since I'll be taking only 4 classes this coming semester I'll have a bit more space and time to do this thing. 

Christmas is coming soon and I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas (Or Happy Hannakah, or Kwanza, or Winter Solstice, or any other holiday you celebrate), and a Happy New Year. I really hope something good happens to each and every single one of you, even if it's something small, I wish you all the best this season. 
I'll be seeing my boyfriend soon. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees me. I'll record our meeting and see if it's okay with him that I post or share it. Either way, I will talk about it if asked.

My gallery here is changing to become more professional and I need to match that a bit. I'm thinking of creating a website where I can share my work, update, have a blog and do basically everything I really want to do as a freelance artist. If there's anyone here who can give me tips on creating a website, let me know. I have made a design for what I would like the site to look like, but I' clueless when it comes to html coding and other things like that. Anything can help.

So, if anyone is curious about how I'm feeling personally: The counseling has helped a lot with personal problems and I've really learned a lot about myself and other people. As of today, I'm a little stressed with all these projects I've got to do, but I have faith that it will all be okay in the end. My faith in God has changed, but it's still strong. My perspective on life is a bit different, but it's all for the better. Legend of Korra has ended...honestly I'm a bit disappointed with how the plot developed. There was so much potential for character development, but in the end it all fell short. The plot pandered in more than one way and it weakened to overall development with the characters. Now I'm in the mood to watch more anime again just for something that's decently written. If there's anything I've learned from Korra is that it is very much possible for good writers to write poorly from time to time. It's okay in the end and the show did have it's amazing moments that were written beautifully. The show had so much potential for great things but in the end fell short in regards to character development. 

Speaking of writing, I need to get back into doing that more often. I enjoy writing and if I wrote in my notebook similar to how I did with sketching, I could become quite good at it. Also, I've been getting into gaming a lot more recently. Fire Emblem Awakening and Animal Crossing have been on my mind and are great for relieving stress...but also very good at making me procrastinate. Gosh, I get so many ideas for fanworks nowadays. It's time I execute these things and have fun with my art and writing again.
