Pretty simple. I think I need to loosen up a bit... What do you guys think? (Note: Okay, I was drawing a circle...and felt the urge to draw a face in it, kay? DON'T JUDGE ME!)

Hi SteeKira! I'm Firegirln1 from Gakuen-Manga. It seems like we're both incoming freshman and we both did this traditional. Freshie's gotta stick together! haha good job on this task, i can tell you really put effort into it. Nice fanning out on the H+V lines, it looks good. My only critique is that at points the lines could be a little smoother (ex. Your long elbow lines have a bit of a point in the middle) But very good, i look forward to more
Is it just me or are the best lines the one's at angles like '/' and '\'...? The - and l lines are really shakey. The top portion of the drawing is much cleaner than the bottom half...
Your 'pen pressure' is really good. I don't see any issues with varying the thickness of the lines and curves. With all that being said, part of this task is graded on how well the lines, curves, circles, and ovals are executed-which includes how clean they appear. And as much as I love swirls, they shouldn't be visable in or on your ovals and circles.
Thank you! Yeah, actually I hear it's easier to draw straight diagnol lines than horizantal/vertical ones. It has something to do with the motion of your wrist I think? But yeah... I'll work on it. I actually found a good "cheat" for it by turning the paper sideways and try drawing lines that way. XD
Thank you! I'll be sure to take that into account as well....v.v; I might have to start over again.
